Deerlady is an experimental rock band based in Brooklyn, NY and fronted by singer-bassist Mali Obomsawin (Odanak Abenaki). Their debut album Greatest Hits was independently released in 2024 and became an underground sensation after anonymously premiering the track “There, There” on the acclaimed FX series “Reservation Dogs.”

Described as shoegaze, Indigenous-gothic, and straight up rock, Deerlady’s DIY spirit and explosively precious soundscapes mark the band’s unique and captivating sound. The group has recently expanded from a duo to a 5-piece band and has gained notoriety for their adventurous live performances. They are currently touring the US and Canada.
